María Valverde (born Maria Valverde Rodriguez) was born on the 24th of March, 1987 in Madrid, Spain. She had always wanted to be an actress, and could finally fulfill that dream when she was sixteen and won a leading role with Luis Tosar in a Manuel Martin Cuenca Movie, called La flaqueza del bolchevique, a role she would win the 2003 Goya Award for. Her nicknames include 'Mary' and 'Campanilla' (Tinkerbell in English) and she stands at 5"4 and is an Aries.
